The activities on this weekend include backpacking, hiking, and some light team activities. Men and youth must be healthy and capable of outdoor activity. We advise each participant to seek the advice of their physician before registration. Teams are expected to check in between 3:00-3:30pm on Friday. The weekend ends between 3:00-4:00pm on Sunday.

Location:

The location will be in northern Arizona, approximately a two hour drive from the Phoenix International Airport. A detailed map will be sent to participants after registration.

Cost:

Cost of this weekend will be $225/man. Each man/youth must register with his buddy/mentor as a team.

Logistics:

Each participant comes to the weekend with a male mentor. Important bonding will take place during the weekend with this man. The mentor shall be someone who does NOT feel same sex attraction. The participant and his mentor will experience a weekend of teamwork, bonding, education, and adventure. We recognize the emotional risk that may be involved to invite a mentor. However, this type of emotional risk is essential for healing.

Each participant brings their own personal gear. A list of personal gear will be provided after registration. There will be physical activity throughout the weekend, so we advise you to seek a physical exam from your doctor to ensure you are in good health.
